And those that don't 'disappear' are cleverly disguised as chimneys, flagpoles, or water towers.
Full Signal talks to scientists around the world who are researching the health effects related to cellular technology; to veteran journalists who have called attention to the issue for decades; to activists who are fighting to regulate the placement of antennas; and to lawyers and lawmakers who represent the people wanting those antennas regulated.

More than just nostalgia, "Country School" also delves into the dark side of the one-room school experience and dispels the myths behind the revered institution that helped bind a young nation together. Powerful commentary from historians provides insight into lessons learned from the school days and school ways of yesteryear. Multilingual classes, guns in school, and the pain of closure remind us that the dramatic one-room school story continues to provide insight today.

Almost no band sidelines its musical endeavors entirely in order to reform into a moderately successful and highly-fashionable boot manufacturing business, but documentarian Lech Kowalski takes a look at one such collective with his 2002 film Boot Factory. While visiting Krakow, Poland to promote his film DOA, Kowalski met one of his film's fans, a Polish punk-rocker-turned-entrepreneur named Lukasz Siska. Instantly inspired, Kowalski followed Siska back to the Cockney Underground Boot Factory--the aforementioned boot factory--in order to look into the lives of people whose existences revolve around hard music, hard partying, and serious capitalism.

Gaining access to many of the leaders of the Black Power Movement'Stokely Carmichael, Bobby Seale, Angela Davis and Eldridge Cleaver among them'the filmmakers captured them in intimate moments and remarkably unguarded interviews. Thirty years later, this lush collection was found languishing in the basement of Swedish Television. Director Gran Olsson and co-producer Danny Glover bring this footage to light in a mosaic of images, music and narration chronicling the evolution one of our nation's most indelible turning points, the Black Power movement. Music by Questlove and Om'Mas Keith, and commentary from prominent African- American artists and activists who were influenced by the struggle -- including Erykah Badu, Harry Belafonte, Talib Kweli, and Melvin Van Peebles -- give the historical footage a fresh, contemporary resonance and makes the film an exhilarating, unprecedented account of an American revolution.

Based on the internationally acclaimed book "Hana's Suitcase" which has been translated into 40 languages, the film is an effective blend of documentary and dramatic techniques. In addition to tracing the lives of George and Hana Brady in the 1930's and 40's, "Inside Hana's Suitcase" tells the present-day story of "The Small Wings," a group of Japanese children, and how their passionate and tenacious teacher, Fumiko Ishioka, helped them solve the mystery of Hana Brady, whose name was painted on an old battered suitcase that they received from Auschwitz. They seamlessly transport us through 70 years of history and back and forth across three continents, and relate to us a story of unspeakable sadness and also of shining hope. This is a Holocaust story unlike others. It provides a contemporary global perspective and lessons to be learned for a better future. Directed by award-winning filmmaker, Larry Weinstein, "Inside Hana's Suitcase" is a powerful journey full of mystery and memories brought to life through the first-hand perspectives of Fumiko, Hana's brother George, and of Hana herself.

Miami musician Clarence Reid could be your cranky grandfather... until he puts on his gold-spangled superhero costume and starts singing some of the raunchiest tunes youÊve ever heard in your life. Having changed the game in 1965 by recording what may well be the worldÊs first rap song ('Rap Dirty aka BlowflyÊs Rapp'), Clarence has shocked and grooved audiences for over forty years with BlowflyÊs hilarious and provocative hard-core songs and stage antics.
But before his X-rated career began, Clarence was a major force in the renowned Miami soul scene of the 1960s and Ê70s; writing Top-10 songs for some of the greatest R&B acts, including Betty Wright, Sam & Dave, Gwen McCrae and KC and the Sunshine Band. His songs have been sampled dozens of times by acts such as Ice Cube, Wu Tang Clan, and Beyonce- but having sold his royalties for virtually nothing, heÊs seen no income from any of it. So he continues to take his show on the road, playing small clubs and questionable bookings in front of hard-core bands all over the world.
An intimate and revealing portrait shot over two years, The Weird World of Blowfly examines Clarence's personal and professional contradictions, explores his legacy and celebrates his musical and cultural significance as a rap and soul music legend, and paints a picture of an unheralded, complicated, and stunningly profane man that is as touching as it is obscene.
